The real problem with books-turned-movies isn’t “omg they didn’t include every single word in the book” it’s “omg they completely overlooked the main theme, threw out any significant allegories, took away all the emotional pull, an turned it into a boring action movie with a love triangle in it”

clearly, i’m trying to gain control of my life in healthy, normal ways.

When you see urls/names with boleyn/boleyns after a given (first) name and wonder why people want to make it seem like Boleyn is their last name? Why is this not done with other historical surnames? You are not a Boleyn, so why make it seem like you are?

NOTE: People should be proud of their own last name to use as a url, not use sombody else’s, whoever they might be in ‘history’.

unnecessarily rude.

my username has consistently been awesome no matter what it is- but i’m not going to use my surname because i’m a law student and god forbid somebody see this blog.

clearly putting the last name “boleyn” doesn’t mean that i think that’s my surname. it’s because i admire anne boleyn and if you haven’t noticed, that url was taken. haha funny i’m delusional.

maybe you shouldn’t tag your hate next time or be so vocal about what you perceive as a “joke” especially because i’m not the only person that does this.

or you can offend people. i mean, personal choices are great, aren’t they?

season 1 // season 4

Isn’t it a pity to lose a head like this? Still, they will easily find a nickname for me: among the Queens of England, I shall be “Anne sans tete.” That means “Anne who lost her head.”

I didn’t want to play her as this femme fatale—she was a genuine evangelical with a real religious belief in the Reformation … Anne really influenced the world, behind closed doors but she’s given no explicit credit because she wasn’t protected.Let’s not forget, too, that history was written by men. And even now, in our post-feminist era we still have women struggle in public positions of power.

Then, we can start planning the wedding? Yes;
